Foster Care

Have you ever thought about
becoming a foster parent?

If so, please call us today at 905-433-1551.

Visit the Homes for Kids website.

Bringing extraordinary people, and the kids who need them, together.

Homes for Kids is an innovative strategy is designed to attract more people to care for children in need of foster care, and to ensure a constant supply of safe, nurturing homes for children and youth. To learn more about Homes for Kids, please visit www.homesforkids.com.

Foster parents and their families work with our social workers as part of a foster care team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. They open their homes and share their families with children who are unable to live with their own families.

You and your family have the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child. And you will be helping families in your community. While helping others, you will also be learning new skills. You also have the opportunity to meet people who share your interests.

Many children remain connected with the foster family long after they leave their home, creating an extended family for both the child and the foster family.

Learn more about the application process.
